Single people care an insufferable tax burden especially the lower incomes. This petition is aimed at helping single Americans with no kids who make under $50,000.00 a year with a $3,000.00 tax break equal to the one given to families.
Note Greece is the only country in the World where married families with kids pay 1.6% more taxes than single people.
This type of Tax break will lower the desire for low income people particularly not married to have kids which they can not afford and end up on social services. An extra $250.00 a month means single people with no kids will inject more into the economy.
Note over half the US is now Divorced, Separated, or Single. Thats a vast majority of people who pay 24.6% tax rate vs the 10.4% or lower married people with kids pay.
