Give a social security card to the children of lawfully admitted non-citizens.

Created by S.L. on April 09, 2013

Children of lawfully admitted non-citizens do not have the privilege of obtaining a social security number. I believe that children of legal non-citizens should gain a social security card and number to fulfill their dreams and goals, like all the American citizens can.

My parents came to America with an E-2 visa and tried the partner cooperation to gain a green card. However, my parents' partner did not fulfill the financial requirements and the whole operation failed. My parents and I have been legal aliens for almost 9 years now. We pay all our taxes and has never broken the law. However, we don't get the same privileges as the American citizens just because we weren't born in this country. I'm a hard working student, obtaining a 4.83 GPA and I can't work because I don't have a SSN.
