We the people open this petition to request the Obama Administration to reopen the Steven Avery case and give him another trial.
After reviewing details in the Netflix series, 'Making a Murderer', reading several articles and watching Brendan Dassey's 4-hour-long confession video, I am not convinced that Steven Avery is without a doubt a guilty man.
The case had many holes, some of which had to do with improper involvement by the police of Manitowoc County, the same county who wrongfully convicted Steven Avery in a case in 1985. Also the same police force that was facing a $32 million lawsuit against Steven Avery.
The people are not completely convinced that Steven Avery is a guilty man and request another trial.
