We petition the president and congress to update the Chaffee Amendment which currently gives people with physical, vision, or learning disabilities access to electronic or audio texts through NIMAC. This amendment currently leaves people with autism and intellectual disabilities without access to these texts. These persons have an equal or even greater need for accessible texts. The lack of availability affects many students' educational progress.
