We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

GIVE STUDENTS EQUAL OPPORTUNITY BY ELIMINATING STANDARDIZED TESTS

Created by K.T. on September 29, 2016

Standardized tests do not accurately measure student's abilities and create disadvantages to students who have testing anxiety. These tests only test a limited amount of subjects (math and reading), when students are learning a multitude of different subjects in school. Standardized tests are used to determine if students can: be promoted to the next grade level, graduate high school, or be accepted into college. The immense pressure that tests cause for students, create anxiety and stress, thus setting the students up for failure. In order to give students equal opportunity to succeed, the government must eliminate these tests. The outcome of this would ultimately result in a higher national student success and an eagerness for students to want to continue in higher level education
