Students working on higher education need more support. After all, they are the future of America. Students are walking out of school already being crushed by debt. Free tuition will make for a smarter, less in debt America.
Right now, DSHS considers going to school a luxury. Only students in community college can attain food stamps. Unfortunately when applying for food stamps, some offices neglect to ask what kind of school you're attending. Food stamps will help properly feed students who are on the cliche' Ramen diet.
A basic housing allotment would keep the threat of eviction out of the students mind. Their home should be a sanctuary to advance their studies.
Students should also not have to worry about their health. Free medical will keep the student strong and mentally prepared.
