LFTR, or Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor is a type of molten salt reactor that is meltdown proof and produces electricity 100 times as efficiently as uranium and is found all over the world. The benefits using Thorium for electricity generation is that it can't ever meltdown, since the LFTR is already molten and there is enough thorium on earth for the world to use for several thousand years without worry.
LFTR has other benefits as well, including being able to burn nuclear waste from the current waste stockpile and the by products of LFTR can't be made into bombs, so therefore it is proliferation free. The world can go completely carbon neutral, therefore ending the climate crisis once and for all by using LFTR. Also, LFTR would produce energy cheaper than coal!
