Sufferers of schizophrenia are unable to work. There are many homeless sufferes who are unable to recieve treatment because they cannot work and cannot afford psychiatric assistance. Because they were not able to get a job for the required 7 years they do not recieve full benefits but are able to recieve ssi. Basically the rule is if youve never been ble to work you cannot recieve full benefits. But that doesnt make sense.
