We often argue about what the best way to "Build the Economy." Maybe it is time to look at something new. The Government could give tax breaks to companies to provide services to their employees. Such As: Paid Vacation, Access to counseling services, Child Daycare, Annual Raises, etc.
This seems to advance the ideals of both parties. It would provide incentive for companies to take good care of employees, and reduce the cost of turnover and training. And it would be a direct way for businesses to make a positive social impact.
