Give teachers, staff and all other public service personnel the right to carry arms on all public and federal properties

In lieu of the shooting in Connecticut, as well as a rising trend in firearm related violence as it pertains to the mentally disturbed charging into public areas with the intent to kill innocents, immediately address the issue of allowing teachers, staff and all other public servant personnel on public and federal installations to carry firearms for self defense, and require states to review their policies to consider this petition for their employees as well. If an armed staff member had been present in Connecticut, this disaster may have saved dozens of lives. The reasons why these people do these things will take time to understand, but REPRIMANDING the second amendment will only leave guns in the hands of criminals.
