For too long the Republican and Democrat party have held a firm monopoly over American politics. At first,it worked out fine and people were able to place their beliefs in line with one party or the other. Today however, people are simply "choosing the lesser of two evils" instead of voting for a candidate that truly represents them and their political values.
When it comes to elections in America these days,it simply boils down to voting for parties NOT people.
Allowing people more options when it comes to parties,will not only give us access to more candidates,but encourage us to focus on the candidate and not the party.
This will result in a feeling of choice in the American people and ultimately a more fair and democratic America,not a two party dictatorship.
