The Dragon Skin body armor issue was hotly debated in 2006 and 2007. While Dragon Skin uses superior a design, the United States Military banned it's use because the Officers who oversaw the testing were later employed by Dragon Skin's obsolete competitor, Interceptor. Basically bribery,corruption,and greed among some of the highest ranking members of our armed forces has led to countless lives being lost in fielding an obsolete body armor system.
