Give us the option to opt-out from receiving unendorsed bulk business mail (aka "junk mail") delivered by USPS.

Created by T.K. on June 02, 2014

For many of us, junk mail is an unwanted annoyance added to our daily routine.
Also, it is a major source of waste of resources and pollution at the same time.

With junk mail with fully addressed recipient's name and address, we have the option to opt-out by contacting Direct Marketing Association to have our names deleted.

However, with unendorsed bulk business mails (eg. flyers from your local retail stores), we have no way of stopping their deliveries.
USPS says they are paid to deliver and they will not accept our request to opt-out.
Senders of unendorsed junk mails do not even maintain individual mailing list.

I believe we the people should have the right to either opt-in/out from receiving business junk mail of any kind.
Unfortunately, we do not with the unendorsed junk mail.
