Repeal Obamacare. Countless jobs are rolling employees back to under 30 hours a week, which lowers everyone's wealth, for one.
Expand medicare and medicaid to cover everyone, allowing us a truly universal healthcare system that states cannot opt out of and employers cannot cut hours to get around.
This will serve multiple purposes:
1. It will allow for actually covering everyone.
2. It will actually lower healthcare costs, due to the way that insurance works with lumping people together under "risk pools" in a way that is designed to provide the insurers with up to 20% profit off the illnesses of the sick.
Also allow those who can afford to (opt to purchase private insurance) a credit on their taxes for the cost of their healthcare, then they will not pay disproportionately by refund.
