In America, asking for reform can be a difficult task. With lobbyists influencing every major decision, can one really say with certainty that we have any effect on what our nation is becoming? Democracy only counts when we have a choice, and the idea of that is becoming increasingly humorous. However, we do deserve answers, and that is what this petition is here to ask for.
Millions of United States citizens are having their lives disrupted and destroyed by health care debt. Almost all other first-world nations give their citizens free health care. Of course, it isn't entirely free - but having to pay a few hundred dollars a year is far superior than paying over a hundred thousand dollars for a single medical procedure.
