give veterans with honorable or medical discharges a mandatory paid vacation day on November 11 (Veterans Day)

Created by J.R. on November 10, 2011

Veterans who served honorably or were discharged for medical reasons should receive a special benefit allowing the veteran one extra paid holiday yearly (November 11). Veterans should be paid their normal hourly rate to stay at home on veterans day. The government should require companies with veteran employees to allow one extra holiday for these men and women who risked everything to protect liberty and freedom. The government should also supply these companies with financial assistance to ensure that the employee receives his/her proper wages and incentives for companies to higher veterans.
