We have to accept that America is a country with 100s of millions of legal and illegal firearms in circulation. Any criminal or maniac can get his hands on many types of weapons. Our children are very vulnerable in schools. The officials in charge of these schools need to be trained to protect our children. Newtown, CT is a massacre that is simply not tolerable. We need to take measures that can virtually eliminate the possibility of this ever happening again.
My suggestion is to train and arm the top 3 officials in each school with Shotguns so they at least have something to combat with if someone does enter the school with the intent to harm children.,
