GIVEN NAMES DURING IMMIGRATION-AVOID PREFIXING FNU- FIRST NAME UNKNOWN

This petition is regarding FNU tag in the name on GREEN CARD for many immigrants.
I have no Surname and hence in my Indian Passport I kept the surname blank and MAMMOTTIL MATHEW MATHEW is mentioned as given names.
During the final process of immigration, DS260 form call for filling the name as mentioned in the Passport. i.e. without any surname. For cases like mine the consulate mentions all name in the surname and add first name as FNU. This means for persons like me on immigration first name become FNU. FNU stands for First Name Unknown. But FNU become the first name in my Green Card. My name in USA is FNU MAMMOTTIL MATHEW MATHEW. I request administrative intervention to avoid FNU in green card.
