The US military needs unimpeded access to its facilities, bases and training grounds in order to maintain the highest order of readiness. Several state and federal officials have expressed concern recently over the US Army's access to its facilities in Texas for the purpose of training and readiness.
We ask the federal government to:
1. Cancel all exercises in Texas;
2. Remove all military bases and other facilities from Texas;
3. Remove all military personnel from Texas; and
4. Consider closing all federal installations in the Texas.
The state of Texas, and its leadership, is clearly (and unnecessarily) paranoid. These are rational steps to remove any (irrational) cause for that paranoia.
