Pharmaceutical globalization in today's time has taken a toll on general population. There are several drawbacks which needs to be addressed e.g adulteration, counterfeit, tampering of medication or API, internet pharmacy, etc. Also FDA and other Govt. bodies are facing difficulties in solving other issues like getting information about foreign manufacturers, lack of inspection authorities, and very few foreign facilities inspection where medications are manufactured and distributed. According to GAO reports, FDA has more inspectors for domestic facilities than foreign facilities and also more funds available for domestic facilities inspection. So, we should take appropriate action in order to solve issues related to pharmaceutical globalization.
