No compromise. We go over the "fiscal cliff". In reality this means we revert to congress' orginal plan. That is to let all the "Bush" tax cuts expire on Dec. 31, 2012. THAT IS THE CURRENT LAW! After the tax cuts expire, it is clear that the next step in the national conversation that we will be talking about will be TAX CUTS, not TAX INCREASES. We despise all this talk about RAISING TAXES on the wealthy. That is a distortion. The wealthy and everyone else received TEMPORARY TAX CUTS that are about to expire. We say let all the temporary tax cuts expire and lets have a national conversation about who (seeing as we have a huge deficit) should get new tax cuts. Lets see if republicans insist on refusing to give new tax cuts to 98% of Americans unless the wealthiest 2% get them as well!
