What has the point of US involvement in the world become? A source of Legitimization.
The international stage is now on par with domestic issues. Though no doubt important, foreign policy has to be like a job to a high school student.
Yes, this job is very important. It teaches responsibility, important social skills, and offers a small source of income. HOWEVER, school comes first and that is what Domestic issues need to be, the schoolwork.
Lets get radical, lets do something crazy, leave the UN take all troops from everywhere. The UN needs us, we are their source of authority, that is all.
Lets fix our problems here before we fix them elsewhere.
