The goal of this petition: When parental rights are terminated the natural parent is able to restore their rights.

I am certified substance abuse specialist that lost her parental rights over 10 years ago. My 15 1/2 year old child wants to be with me, his mother. The law will not allow this to happen. I have been clean and sober for over 8 years and have an amazing life to offer my six children. I have not gotten a second chance. My oldest child wants to be with me and we cannot be together according to the law. This has to change and I have done everything to change my life and to be the best mom I can be. I have evidence of my change and progress. I have helped many people in recovery to learn from my mistakes and I maintained a 3.9 GPA in college, turned my life around. i own two homes and I am happily married. I deserve a chance, as well as many others. I am sure I am not alone.
