This petition is for freedom of speech among service men and women as long as the subject matter is not classified and/ or does not disturb operations. Many military members have stories to tell, but can't because of federal law. (No public release of information if it inhibits recruiting, disturbs operations, or violates national security.) Allowing service members to talk about the military as events happen will foster an environment that allows for prompt resolution for issues that arise as well as increased accountability on leadership within the organizations.
