This is a petition to have the federal government invest money in and work to develop algae as a potential oil source. Algae can be made into oil through a pressure-cooking like process. The highest reported amount of oil created was a 65 percent usable biofuel. By spending money on this new resource, the government would be working to create alternative energy sources and free our country from oil dependence.
