The benefits, pay and privileges of honorably retired military personnel may not be reduced from the amount, type, like or quantity they were on the day the individual retired from service. Medical, pay and other benefits not be reduced, infringed or eliminated to any extent less than they were on the day the individual retired from active military service. Further, if any benefits, pay or privileges are increased after an individual retires, they may not be reduced below that level at any future time.
