Government funding of clinical trials for new treatments for fatal diseases.

Created by D.K. on April 21, 2014

Inspired by the Eliza O'Neill story, I propose a domestic aid program to fund clinical trials for experimental medications for fatal illnesses. With the many diseases that this nation faces along with other nations such as Sanfilippo syndrome, a domestic policy of funding promising treatment experimentation can be attained along the same lines as our foreign policies for such illnesses as malaria.

While it is understood that the tolls of a disease such as Sanfilippo syndrome are not of the scale as malaria, this disease is one example of several high level and complicated diseases that do affect the American people at home and in the case of Sanfilippo disease, affects our children at such a young age.
