The government needs to mandated maternity paid leaver for both parents!!!

Sad to say but only four countries do not have mandated paid leave, and the United States is one of them. Here in the United States women rely on employers to provide paid leave when they have a child. Some employes don't even offer this, and the ones that do only give you 6-12 weeks. In some countries, the standard duration is three years. The United States is ahead of so many countries in many different issues, but when it comes to women's issues and rights that is not the case.
