The government should reform education. There should be less standardized testing and more genuine education.

Education has become a teacher's nightmare. Teachers spend all their instructional time teaching for a test at the end of the year. These tests not only judge the students capabilities, but they falsely judge the teacher's knowledge. Many teachers have a great deal of knowledge they can pass to their students, but are limited by the constraints of mandated testing. Why should any student strive to gain more knowledge when their teacher can only teach them the things that will be on the test. Students all over the nation are losing the ability to think outside of multiple choice questions. Education is paramount for the nation to have a future characterized by intelligent individuals.
