U.S. Citizens should be allowed the right to any governmental help when needed. A person should not be denied the help only because income level is a few dollars over the minimum requirement; living expenses should be considered before denial. Also, mothers should not be judged upon age, or living status; for example, if mother was to be living with parents, but mother is fully responsible over child, she should not have to be older than 23 to qualify for assistance. Good reasoning should be given to, "Why mother need's the assistance?" No one who is standing in a hard situation who has been a taxpayer should be denied, and those who are receiving government assistance after a consecutive period of over a year should be investigated.
