Governments Provide Equal Funding and Resources to all Public Schools in a District.

Created by I.L. on October 30, 2015

One key step to improving our country's education is system is addressing one aspect of inequality stands out: the unequal distribution of resources to schools in different ares. As seen in many instances across the country, students living in low-income, urban areas must attend zoned schools which are often times older and lack updated textbooks, technology, and other resources. Conversely, schools in wealthier neighborhoods receive funding to provide students with these newer, more up-to-date resources, leaving a enormous education gap between rich and poor students.
By providing equal resources to every school, no matter what the demographics of the surrounding neighborhoods are, we can alter the course of education, giving every student equal access to equal opportunities.
