Graduate studies are expensive and difficult. 12 months of OPT is a disaster,disrespect and unfair for foreign students.

12 months of OPT for international graduate students is a complete disaster. Graduate studies are expensive ,difficult and highly competitive. We came to USA with hopes on our future . We spend so much money for education in your great country so that one day we can get a job and earn some money. Immigration has always been very difficult in USA. If we have 29 months of OPT at least we can earn some money and go back to our country if our immigration has any problem. Now getting H1 visa depends on pure luck because it is in lottery system and 12 months of OPT is a disrespect to foreign students. USA is a great country and i hope we the foreign students will get justice by having back the 29 months of OPT again . Thank You. God bless United states.
