We as grandparents are often not allowed to see our grandchildren when things dont go the way the parents want them to go,and the parents use the grandchildren as leverage to benefit themselves,or theres a disagreement with a boyfriend girlfriend situation,resulting in the grandparents not being able to ever see their grandchildren.There are millions of great grandparents in the world that are never allowed to see their grandchildren because of selfishness.And this can be devestating to grandparents and grandchildren.Once you have established a good relationship with a grandchild,there should be a law stating you have rights to see your grandchild at any given time,providing you have a safe and caring background.
