Grandparents Daycare Benefits When Raising Grandchildren

I would like to see grandparents that are raising grandchildren as guardians be entitled to daycare funding the same as parents that are working or going to school would be entitled to. We have millions of grandparents in this country acting as primary care givers due to walkaway parents for various reasons and it crosses all racial, cultural and social lines. Even if they have worked all their lives towards their retirement, unplanned grandchildren to care for takes a huge toll on a budget and can place a huge strain on resources, especially on for grandmothers caring for children alone.This helps keep children stable and out of the foster care system by allowing grandparents to continue working, as well as caring for the kids.
