Proposed: Grannex Greece. Europe is unable to deal with the relatively tiny Greek economy, and is now pushing for further punishments including temporary removal from the Eurozone (Grexit). America is now faced with a foreign policy dilemma - allow Russia to increase its influence by stepping in to help the Greeks, allow Europe to continue its disastrous economic policies, or take action.
The United States of America should instead offer immediate statehood to the Greek people. Greece is the birthplace of Democracy, and America is the birthplace of modern Democracy. We are a natural fit. The Greek people would have the more autonomy than they do under the rule of Eurozone, and America would get the Acropolis - it's a match made in heaven!
