The ability to choose for oneself has long been a sign of freedom and lack of oppression. With the growing battles regarding certain topics, the debates are becoming more and more related to religion instead of actual rights. We the people petition the government to
Grant the basic tight of choice to
1. have an abortion performed
2. have two adults (regardless of sex) engage in matrimony
(and all rights and associated privileges )
AND
3. Remove the ability for a non-church organization to discriminate based off of a persons beliefs. (boy scouts)
All of these should be rights granted to the people already. Ultimately, it is the RIGHT of the individual to make the decision. NO ONE ELSE should EVER have the right to make those decisions for them. Regardless of religious belief.
