Niloofar Rihmani was the first female to be granted her Air Force wings in Afghanistan. In a battle weary country, both father and mother encouraged their daughter to pursue her dream of becoming a pilot despite massive obstacles. Niloofar's life is in danger as much as Malala Yousafzai's is if they return home. I have a special plea to friends in the military to ask for signatures from your friends and colleagues. Niloofar would be an admirable citizen of the US and give hope to young girls and women everywhere with ambitious goals and bravery.
