GRANT ALL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING OFF AS A PAID HOLIDAY.

Created by W.L. on November 13, 2013

On behalf of all the dedicated, hard working federal employees of the U.S.A, we are requesting to be granted Friday, November 29, 2013 as a paid holiday to be able to spend time with our families. Due to the furlough, many federal employees experienced financial and mental hardships. Many federal workers still reported for duty on a daily basis not knowing when they would be paid again or how they would get their bills paid on time. Congress, however, didn't see one glitch in not receiving their paychecks. So we ask for this to be granted this holiday season so that we, the employees, don't have to choose between spending time with our loved ones or coming in to work.
