This is a petition to grant equal and all opportunity to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual, and any other minority. This will invoke and encourage all states to enact protections for same-sex couples. Right now, Only 21 states have Protection for LGBTQA+ individuals, 13 states explicitly ban same-sex marriage, almost half of all LGBT individuals experience discrimination at work, 17% of LGBT individuals are not hired/fired because of their sexual preferences, 28% of LGBT individuals aren’t promoted because of their sexual preferences, and ½ of all LGB individuals are physically abused/have their workplace vandalized. LGBT individuals make up 3-7% of all Americans. Let us include and not discriminate against our fellow Americans that contribute to our wonderful nation.
