We petition Obama to grant amnesty to all drug offenders. I will share what I have learned from three roles.
Libertarian: This war is unjust. Founded on lies and fear, from Reefer madness to today's modernized propaganda. You unconstitutionally give religious exceptions to drug laws.
Young Person: My peers are oppressed. We fear the police, community and each other. Obama asked why we use: recreation, enhanced aesthetic perception, spirituality, social inhibition. And yes, for SOME, addiction.
Transnational Trafficker: Everyone loses. You can spend another trillion & not stop us. Modern technology protects us. Yet our peers fill your prisons. You ensure inconsistent purity & designer drugs, causing OD & unpredictable effects. You make drug use as unsafe as possible rather than as safe.
