Grant Amnesty to those illegal immigrants who can show proof of residency for an extended period of years+tax returns.

The time has come for immigration reform. Rather than continue with outdated ideals of how to treat this issue, begin to grant citizenship for those who show responsible behavior in their lives. Politicians talk about the border, but facts show that there are still millions of undocumented workers in the United States, and have to work 2 or more jobs with unfair wages. Enact a law allowing limited amnesty
based on actual time spent living here along with proper documentation of taxes, cut the politics with people's lives. Already politicians like Newt Gingrich and Micheal Bloomberg have stated this in one form or another.
