GRANT ASYLUM TO MERIAM YEHYA IBRAHIM, WHO HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO DEATH BY THE SUDANESE GOVERNMENT FOR HER FAITH.

Created by J.G. on May 23, 2014

Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, age 27, is the wife of an American citizen. She has been sentenced to death by the government of Sudan for her Christian faith. It is not enough to simply decry the sentence. She should be granted asylum, efforts should be taken to secure her release, and she and her family should be given the opportunity to seek refuge outside of Sudan.
