This petition is to request the immediate and swift granting of asylum for Mohammed Gulab, the Afghan man who saved Petty Officer Marcus Luttrell from almost certain death during Operation Red Wings. Mohammed Gulab has been on the run from Taliban ever since 2005 when he saved Luttrell. We grant asylum to thousands on a monthly basis and if anyone is more deserving of it it would be Gulab. Gulab is under constant threat and has been for 10 years now. We petition the Obama Administration to not let this hero be abandoned to our mutual enemies. Bring Mohammed Gulab and his family to the safety and security that they deserve in the United States.
