The Romeike Family is in the USA from Germany on legal visas. They are here to request asylum due to persecution by the German government in the form of threats of loss of custody of their children because they choose to homeschool. Every day millions of people live in the USA illegally with no consequences, and we are even considering granting those people sudden and automatic citizenship. The Romeikes have followed the law and all they want is to enjoy the same rights and freedoms to teach their children as they believe that all Americans have. Regardless of their reasons for homeschooling, as parents they are entitled to do so and should be under natural law, and it is indeed persecution for Germany to threaten to remove their children for this. Please grant them asylum.
