grant British musician Peter (Pete) Doherty access/entry into the United States of America.

The purpose of this petition is to grant famed British musician and poet, Peter Doherty, access to the United States of America.
Peter Doherty's music and work has been a source of inspiration to a great variety of people worldwide, and it seems an injustice to not let someone who is such an important figure within the contemporary art scene into the U.S.A., especially since the band which Doherty first played with, The Libertines, is arguably one of the most influential rock bands of the 21st century.
Over the past few years, I have noticed an increase in the number of U.S.A. fans of Doherty's work, all who remain hopeful Doherty might one day tour the U.S.A., either solo or with a band. Thus, I have started this petition in hopes to change that--to help bring Doherty to the U.S.A.
