Grant current illegal immigrants a slow path to citizenship, but tax them all at a higher rate than the rest of us.

Created by K.K. on January 30, 2013

When they pay more, regular citizens pay less. Create a totally seperate and higher tax bracket for illegal immigrants.

Ask yourself this -

1- Does it REALLY make economic sense to deport all illegal immigrants? I submit it does not.

2- Does it REALLY make sense to put all of them in prison and waste even more resources? I submit it does not.

3- THEREFORE - the smart way to solve this problem is to turn something negative into positive. Grant them all a slow path to citizenship, but with a catch.

For instance, if a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident alien is taxed at 25% on $75,000, then the illegal immigrant would get taxed at 35% on $75,000 for the next 20 years.

Constitutional? Uncertain. What is certain is that we have a national debt to pay off.
