Alot of stress has been placed on the civil service workforce this year and appears to be headed for round two in early 2014. Having the day after Thanksgiving off gives time to civil service members to spend with family and friends instead of having to rush to return to work the next day. Allows those individuals the chance to participate in shopping events. Creates a safer highway environment by allowing more time for family travel.
