Grant D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands statehood.

We cannot proudly proclaim ourselves to be the greatest representative democracy in the world while simultaneously denying citizenship rights and the right to vote to people who not only have the required payments and obligations of other citizens, but who's populations overwhelmingly and proudly serve within our nation's military. The basis for the denial of their equal rights is tied to legislature over a hundred years old, and should hold no basis in the face of common decency and respect for the support these territories and the District of Columbia provide our nation. The District of Columbia, Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands deserve to be recognized as states.
