Grant education debt relief to licensed professional Social Workers who work in economically depressed communities.

Created by A.S. on October 11, 2011

Licensed Social Workers who work in impoverished communities and earn low salaries are unlikely to maintain their license and social work careers due to the high cost of living. Granting Licensed Social Workers student loan debt relief will 1) enable them to maintain their roles as helping professionals in the most impoverished and needy communities, 2) increase the numbers of social workers willing and able to provide services to those citizens who are most in need in our society, i.e. returning soldiers suffering from PTSD, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, unemployment, etc., and 3) keep Social Workers, themselves, from becoming marginalized, so that they can be more active contributors to the economy.
