Grant the Election Assistance Commission to manage all Presidential elections under the Help America Vote Act (HAVA).

The Election Assistance Commission should manage the administration of Federal elections; and establish federal election laws and standards. This should be a priority of the EAC with Federal staff to manage all Presidential elections under the guidelines of the National Voter Registration Act and the Help America Vote Act. The Help America Vote Act (Pub.L. 107-252), or HAVA, is a United States federal law. Drafted in reaction to the controversy surrounding the 2000 U.S. presidential election, almost two million ballots were never counted. The 2012 Presidential election, many voters were in line up to eight hours and many registered voters left the lines or were intimidated by the long lines resulting in over 10 million Americans not casting their right to vote. Voters need protection.
